Pin the Candle on the Cake

​Welcome to the Green Planet! Can you place the birthday candle on the cake?

What you need:

• Poster board
• Permanent marker
• Foam double-sided tape

Instructions:

• On the poster board, draw a cake (this is a fun activity to create with the birthday kid before the party). It doesn’t need to be perfect, use your imagination and have fun! Outline the cake with a permanent marker or you can color it, too! ​
• Cut off a section of the poster board for candles. Draw and cut out the candles. Place a foam double-sided piece of tape on each candle. ​​

How to play:

• This is like pin the tail on the donkey. Give each child a candle that’s ready to be stuck on the board. 
• Blindfold the child and spin him/her the number of years the birthday kid is that day… so if it’s a 6th birthday party, spin the child 6 times. 
• Whoever can place their candle closest to the cake, wins!
